Crossing international borders, through small towns of Chile and Argentina, to advance between green valleys, to enjoy incredible climbs and descents in the heart of The Andes, in Patagonia, always one of the most incredible and virgin places on Earth, is one of the great adventures and experiences that the man and his bike can enjoy.
The International Patagonia Tour is an expedition race on mountain bike. During three days the competitors, in teams of two, must travel the Argentinean - Chilean Patagonia on stages of approximately 70km of mountain roads and paths and resting in camps at night.
The technique, the physical skill and the correct race planning will be essential to achieving the objective.
Crossing The Andes in Patagonia with the International Patagonia Tour is being a pioneer, feeling free with the fresh air in every climb and every descent, and also to share the nights camping under the starry sky of Patagonia.
On February 2009, took place the first edition of the International Patagonia Tour, with competitors from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, France, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
